Our research highlighted several key issues within the current app. Fragmented travel itineraries lead to confusion and mismanagement. We need more customization options for travel preferences. Time-consuming booking and rescheduling processes. Poor integration with other travel-related services and tools. Limited access to real-time travel updates and notifications. In early 2023, the UX team embarked on a design sprint to reimagine the business travel mobile app home and trip experience. The business travel industry is evolving rapidly, increasing demands for efficiency, personalization, and seamless user experiences. The design sprint facilitated UX collaboration with various stakeholders, product owners, and developers, working towards a new design and recognizing the potential for innovation in this space. Our objective was to streamline the travel planning and management process for business professionals, enabling a more intuitive, efficient, and stress-free experience. The project's scope encompassed a refresh of the existing app's user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), focusing on business travelers' unique needs and pain points.
